March Madness

1-0 + $ 584.00

Butler and Wisconsin are two very similar teams with two stars each and the rest role players.

Even though Butler lost some games to teams this year they had no business losing to, they just beat
#1 Pitt who was strong.

I give the Butler team and their Coach alot of credit as they seem to be peaking at the same time they did last year.

I didn't like them at +5 but with the 2 1/2 point buy , I cash this ticket.

BYU has been playing lights out with the Jimmer and Emory. I strongly believe that Brandon Davies is going to be missed badly in this game and it will hurt BYU's chances to advance.

Florida just too athletic and will win this game.

Some concern about Boyntons ankle but as long as they play strong overall defense , they can allow Jimmer to get his 35 and Florida gets the win.

Gl Scott, that fla line stinks badly

I figure it could be a close game.

Florida can keep up in the scoring and will have a decided advantage rebounding in this game.

I am thinking it should be enough for the win.

This Florida team is talented.

All 5 starters are returning starters and the level of competition in the SEC actually was up this year .

BYU is going to have to shoot lights out to keep this close, because they wont be getting many
rebounds on either end of the floor.

Florida's Big men are dominating athletic rebounder's and If BYU has an off shooting night, its game over.

Of course BYU could win, but Jimmer is going to have to be amazing to pull this one off.

Jimmer has a tendancy to jack up iffy shots because he is relied on so much.

Florida is a much more effective team than Gonzaga and they have a Coach and players that are 30 deep.

GO FLORIDA !

This game should be a close one.

The game that ruined me on Wisky was the last Penn St game.

I wasnt too enamored with Penn St this year but when Wisky couldnt score at all in that game I had to wonder about their chances to advance when the going got tough.

Wisky couldn't hit the broadside of a bull's ass with a banjo in that game. It was a pathetic performance.

Wisky seems to have problems at away games and this is the most away you can get.

Their showing vs Ohio St is also a game I gauge this on. National TV big hype. Wisky just couldnt compete and got blown out.

Where is the pride. Where is the never say die .

I think that belongs to the Butler bulldogs.

What will be , will be.

KOD.......

Best of luck with your plays, man. When you post, you're a must read. Always like seeing us on the same side of the equation. I think what I like most though is that you inject some life and fun into your plays. Almost like they take on a story, themselves. Obviously, the best stories always end with a tasty chicken dinner......this time, brought to us by the Butler!!!

Best of luck during the tourney KOD. I'll be watching you......

Scott - I like the Florida play. I think the Zags spent too much time trying to stop Jimmer and therefore left others wide open. Donovan is too smart for that. I think he will let Jimmer get 50 if he wants, but he will not allow the other guys open looks.

As was said, Jimmer will be more likely to force shots. The only snag is going to be if FLA can dominate on the boards. They have to.
