I am relatively new to baseball, but one system that I have heard of is, play on a home team if they have lost the first two games of the series. The theory being, it's hard for an away team to win all 3 games from the home team, and the home team will try to avoid losing 3 games in front of the home crowd.
My questions is, has anyone followed this system? I know it would be hard to determine the profitablilty based on $ due to the varying odds, but does anyone have a % of winners by the home team in that 3rd game if they lose the first two?
