Does anyone know where I can get future t-bill projections. For my government backed student loans obviously they depend on the t-bill. They bid on them in may and lock in june 1st I believe. I talked to a harvard mba who is in charge of a student group dedicated to loans and he all but assured me through his groups research the rates will rise sever % points this coming year. He said the NYTimes is a good site to get estimates, but I can't find it.

Anyone have any idea??

Saint the fed meets eight times a years; Feb, March, May3, June 29/30, August 9, Sept 20, november 1, december 13.

they can also meet to decide rates in an emergency or special situation, however this is rare. for the rest of the year rates (as of now) are expected to go up 1.50%-2% (200 basis points).

the rates will not go up sharply, the only meeting there is until June 1 is on May 3. It is expected that the fed will raise .25% (25 basis points, outside chance of a half point .50.

they will probably raise rates a quarter for the next three/four meetings.

thanks
