an opinion off yahoo:

Fantasy Spin: He has been unhittable this season, but he's a 30-year-old retread with little track
record of success in the majors, and he isn't overpowering. Avoid him. (David Srinivasan/TSN)

from AP:

TWINS PROBABLE STARTER: Tony Fiore (2-0, 0.89 ERA). After shutting down opponents in nine relief appearances, Fiore makes his first start of the season. The right-hander replaces Brad Radke, who is on the DL with a pulled groin. Fiore has surrendered just two runs and eight hits over 20 1-3 innings this season, while striking out 10 and walking eight. Opponents are hitting .121 against Fiore, who has allowed neither a run nor a hit against the Yankees this season, striking out five in four innings.

TWINS REPORT: Fiore gets first look at stadium
BY GORDON WITTENMYER
Pioneer Press

NEW YORK ? Twins pitcher Tony Fiore walked out beyond left field at Yankee Stadium and saw the famous Monument Park. He looked up at the familiar white facade, the blue seats, the aura of Yankee Stadium.

"It was kind of interesting," said Fiore, who on his first day at one of baseball's great shrines seemed to still be searching for the mystique and emotion that most talk about.

Could be a good sign for the Twins, considering that the 30-year-old rookie makes his first major league start today in his second day in the place.

"If anything, early on I might just have too much energy," said Fiore, who will start against New York in place of injured ace Brad Radke. "You can't help but get excited. You've got all the people booing you.

"I hope it's packed, and I hope they boo the hell out of me. That will just add to the adrenaline."

Fiore, who has a 2-0 record and 0.89 earned-run average in 20 1/3 relief innings this season, has four scoreless innings against the Yankees.

"I haven't started before," he said, "but I know if I'm on, if I have my good stuff with me, I'll keep us in the game."

Four of a kind: Fiore is one of four Twins who walked into Yankee Stadium for the first time Friday. Another was Bobby Kielty, who started in right field, where a certain barrel-torso, spindly-legged outfielder once roamed.

"It's amazing," Kielty said. "Babe Ruth played here, right? It's pretty amazing, a guy like that in the (batter's) box just like me."

Said outfielder Dustan Mohr, who made the monuments beyond left field his first stop Friday.

"Think about all the people who played on that field," he said. "It's breathtaking... . It gives you a sense the game is bigger than any one person or team."

Pitcher Kyle Lohse was the other first-timer at Yankee Stadium.
