By CHRIS McPHERSON -- Head coach Andy Reid said that he met privately for a few minutes with wide reciever Terrell Owens on Wednesday morning before the team's morning practice.
Reid considered it a "good" meeting. When asked if Owens said all of the right things in the meeting, Reid just said that he was out on the practice field.
Owens practiced, but was held to limited reps by Reid to keep a close watch on his strained groin injury. Owens did collide with cornerback Sheldon Brown during what was considered by Reid an "aggressive" practice. Brown suffered a leg laceration, but will be fine.
Reid kept everything else about the Owens situation close to the vest saying that any future communications with teammates or coaches about Owens would be done in-house.
"We're going to take it day-by-day and see how things go," Reid said. "It was good to see him back out there. He did a nice job and worked hard."
It has not been determined whether Owens will play this Saturday night in the team's preseason matchup against Baltimore.
