I agree with the board here on TORONTO, but I'm not risking the spread, I'm going to tease them down to -.5 so all I have to do is win. My strategy is to play this early game to the latest game, the LAKERS and set myself up for a huge middle possibility at HT. I think NYK will struggle in the FH as they have against so many good teams this year, and then make a huge comeback in the 2H as they have many times. Based on that, I would love to take the KNICKS in my teaser +18, but like last night, if the LAKERS are winning huge at the half, I can't get the value out of them playing LAKERS at PICKEM if they are already up by 15 or so.... too risky. I would then have LA -15 NYK +18.5 so only 3 middle points, not enough. I'm going with the Under on the teaser, and plan on going OVER for the 2H. Here's why: IF NYK are struggling early, they will play their starters a lot in the 2H and will continue to score. The LAKERS 2nd Unit is nearly as good as the NYK starters so they will score as well. LA's bench likes to play hustle defense and run with Bynum or ODOM as the only big on the floor. Fits NY perfectly, so a backdoor cover by NY is definitely possible. BUT, if we get to half at about 100, we'll get a 2H number of 106 and will now have OVER 206 and UNDER 217 for two push numbers and TEN
SWEEP (middle) numbers!
Of course.... RAPTORS still can't go extinct on me, or all my planning goes down the tubes... :sadwave: However, I can alway check the HT line in TOR and hedge then as well, but that gets to be way way confusing for you all. I'll probably do it and post it in my HT Thread though...

Playing this as a FOUR UNIT so I can play a DOUBLE PLAY at HT of TOR (if necessary) and have FOUR UNITS to use at HT of LAKERS game if TOR covers. Need to do something to change it up!

Scoring picked up some, but not to the point where I trust these two for the OVER 2H. However, I like the way JAMISON is playing, and AGENT ZERO has only taken 6 shots. He will look to get his in the second half and in what should be an emotional locker room (WIZ owner died earlier today) the Wizards should come out inspired to win one for ABE! Also, PHILA has been a nice 2H fade team also as they have quit on many a night in the latter stages of games.
Perfect set up for a WASH victory being down one at the half. As the Raider Zombie would say "JUST WIN BABY!"

Would take Ind second half if I were to bet..my reasoning being this: If Miami can make somewhat of a run, I think the Pacers can. We shall see.

Laying 3.5 would give me a HUGE middle opp since I have -.5 and would get IND +17.5, but really, do I think IND can win this game?!?! :shrug: Uh, :nono: NO. Not at all.... not with MURPHY/GRANGER in foul trouble and TOR not. So, if it does bite me in the butt, I'll get a band aid, but I'm good here. If anything is to be played, it would be the Under, but I don't want to mess with it. Plenty more games to come....

Honestly I don't know why, Warriors can hang with them at least I think so. Mavs barely squeaked by the Kings, W's playing well without Jackson.

Well, I was expecting this line with the MAVS trailing, but since they went on a 9-4 run after I made my post, that changes things. To lay 7 while down 1 makes it DAL -6 for the game, not -11. I still like the MAVS though, GST is only playing six guys, how can they last all night??? :shrug: They ALL have 2 fouls :nono: and that's not a good sign, and the MAVS have been putting away people in the 4th of games. I don't know, maybe GST does hang around but I doubt they do it all night. Just remembered though that Don Nelson being the ex-Mavs coach and all that DAL may take it easy on him being so short handed.... I'm passing on the side and doing an almost UN HEARD of.... going Under in a WARRIOR game.
