Anybody ever been there? Somebody told me it was a real nice place to go and very exotic. Looking for input as I may want to visit there next year since I get to choose a vacation spot for the wife and I next year (last 2 yrs she has gotten to choose or we have chosen a spot together). :D

I was once offered a position as Village Chieftain on Bora Bora (headdress, grass skirt, whole nine yards) but had to turn it down because the wife said "you're not going anywhere until you paint the bathroom ceiling."

Plan on staying 9 or 10 days. Takes a while to get there. Bust it up between Moorea, Tahiti and Bora Bora if you can.

This company rocks!

Hope it works out. Would love to go there when the kids move out. I'll damn sure deserve it by then!

Cool, I'm about 40K short on frequent flyer miles for 2 free round trip tickets right now but with the credit card sign up bonuses nowadays that should not be a problem.

Moorea is beautiful.

I went on the cruise that spanned Bora Bora, Tahiti, Moorea and others in 2002. The natural beauty is breathtaking, but the natural beauty is about all. I would call it the anti-vegas as there isn't much to do.

If you want to unplug and relax, its great.

If you want to keep up with you fantasy league and stay in the know, you will hate it.

I'm going in a couple months to all three islands (Tahiti, moorea, bora bora) for my honeymoon.

We were looking for somewhere laid back and this is where we decided on.

Everyone has told us if you want to party, stay out all night, etc, don't go to tahiti.

That's fine with me, I've done enough partying all night to last a life time already.
