First NFL post of the season looking for another strong year. Keeping it simple here - until the Rams show me otherwise, I believe strongly they are the worst team in the NFL. I thought this even before the season started. Eagles 38-3 rout is hard to ignore. I flat out see this team quitting and taking plays off at times.
This Giants team should have success throwing and running the ball. I think they name the number today - but will be surprised to see them win by less than 14 today. Giants had a few key defensive injuries - but nonetheless I felt were impressive enough in their 16-7 victory over Washington. This team has shown it can win consitently on the road. I look for Manning to be able to throw down field all day long, and Jacobs should rush for 100+ in this one.
This is the NFL - anything can and will happen, but one thing about this league remains the same - if you can pick the winner, you will cover at a very high %. I'm taking the Giants today - they win, and cover. Lay the 8.5. I'd lay up to 10 on this game. Giants win with ease today.
