why don't you take the test instead of criticizing it. it gives us an idea where people stand on their politics...unless you're afraid to see where you stand (lol).

because its a stupid test. I got a 16 but some questions were flat out stupid.

Eliminate farm subsidies xxxxxxxxxxx
Eliminate subsidies to the arts xxxxxxxxxxx
Abolish public broadcasting
Cut entitlement programs (Social Security, Medicaid, etc.)
Cut defense spending xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxBiggeest waste of money of them all.
Reduce welfare spending xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Reduce foreign aid xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Keep illegal immigrants from receiving public education xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Reduce environmental regulation

Don't cut at all

I scored 20 and I have always admired Colin Powell so that is probably about right.

No surprise for me, right between the Clintons.

I feel as though they have the pulse of what it means to be an American and not a Capitalist.

funny on how close everyone is to the Clintons, and no where near Reagan.

then i truly believe people vote parties and not ideas. When it comes down to it, "Americans" actually want what is right and not best.

This question:
14. U.S. interests are more seriously at stake in Haiti than they are in Korea.

Agree Disagree

makes no sense.

im not sure but i think in the fine print it says "the larger your number indicates what kind of self centered misinformed asshole you may be". They should have left that part out.

I think the questions are worded very leading, but the result is about where I expected to be.

My question is this:

Look at the two poles of their picture scale. Is Ronald Reagan and Bob Dole really despised as much as Jesse Jackson and Ted Kennedy?

I would be very surprised if they are. I always thought, for the most part, Reagan was in decent favor with most Democrats (at least the ones that can like a Republican).

Yeah, i found that a little off. I do not think of Reagan as the far-right. He was conservative, but not war-mongering. I don't remember him trying to ban PBS or anything either. Basically, as long as our leader is competent I can accept a pretty wide range on the political spectrum.
