was at a fundraiser put on by him....well thats what it said anyway.....tickets were 150$ but i know some promogirls and got in for free (hush hush)......anyway i talked to Jose and asked him if it was gonna be Lima Time this year......lol......he said yep and that he was gonna try to get soemthing done with the Astros....

the Houston yuppie crowd is one of the most amazing things i have ever witnessed....everyone there was trying to promote themselves and i was handed about 25 business cards promoting products ranging from nutrition to sunscreen....unreal.....everyone put their best face forward and it was the biggest show of "fakeness" imaginable.....i happen to know as i said some of the promogirls....these people look outwardly to be the happiest, most beautiful people but inside they are all tied up in knots with amazing stories....

but just remember this: It will be Lima Time next year!!!! I asked him if 18 wins is in the picture and he said you bet!

On the course!
"Jose Lima, you are a friend of mine.
I'd like to punch you, 'cause you pitch like you were blind......."

Great song!

Good Dr. Freeze:

Wake up and smell the mocha latte! Many fundraising events are seen as opportunities to network. Do you really think that all the celebrities (and others) who are photographed at charity events are really there because they care about the specific charity? Why would someone pay an outrageous price for a rubber chicken dinner, rather than just writing a check in the same amount directly to the charity? To see and be seen, of course!

At least the others paid the $150 for the privilege! :nono:
