My boy Brad Johson(FSU alum) will be the 1st QB to guide T-Bay to a win under 32 degrees.
They have to win sometime.
Okay, I'm perepared to get mauled. :) nole

No mauling here, been on TB all this season. This is not the Dungy team that has lost to Philly in the playoffs.

Gruden has made this a completely different team, Phill goes down and in the cold.:Yep: dance1 :spotting: dance2 :thumb:

Philly was sloppy in the Atlanta win. They should have dominated the Falcons way more than they did.

I am leaning towards a Tampa Bay win in Philly.

kind of leary playing a team that looks good vs a soft defense one week then plays much better defense the next.

2 examples today.....NYJ/SF
1 yesterday....ATL

Brad Johnsons flutterballs might not go over that well vs Philly and he won't see many 3 or 4 man rushes with ZERO pressure (like SF gameplan until they trailed 28-3...nice coaching).

This is a different Tampa team than in years past but not that different...they still don't have the ability to score from a distance....they don't have a running game...and their o-line has been their weakspot all season long. Should be closer than in the past 2 years but my early lean is toward the Eagles (would like -3 and hesitant to go over -4)

Aces - I dont think Philly represented like they should have against the Falcons. They struggled scoring that 20 points against a average Atlanta defense. With Carpenter and bolden down they really were not playing well and managed to take the game outcome deep into the third quarter.

The weather may not be a factor this time for Tampa as there is just too much at stake. Gruden is the big differance. He will have Tampa Bay ready. Philly takes a butt kick and goes down.

GNJ23, sounds like you didn't grab the EASY Buck cover today,Who did you invest your $$$ on this weekend ????
Hope you had the Bucks too ,but does not sound it..
Spanky..... Gee, I thought Tampa throwing for 200 yards was GREAT !!!!!!! Why so critical at this stage, if you knew the outcome, hindsight is ALWAYS 100%... Tell me, who looked better this week,Philly or Tampa ??? Please don't give me "welll this team did this, and this team did that" !!! Shit ,throw it down BEFORE the games PLEASE.... Ya gotta call it BEFORE the game goes ,not after the fact. Dam, I coulda had an 8 teamer if I had some guys "hindsight" shall we call it....
Anyway, good luck if you do "PLAY the games", I know I am ALL FREEKIN over Tampa next week-- Money line AND plus the 'number..... Spanky.............;)

I'm with ya spanky, how often do you get the chance to throw it down on YOUR TEAM AND WITH CONFIDENCE.

Hey philly fans the same thing, it's your team and throw it down, that's what it is all about.

Nice thing for us is we are getting the points:D

But no matter, I'm going with my team to win S/U and you are doing the same, let's hope for a great game and the Bucs go to the SB:D :Yep: dance1 dance2 :thumb:

I'll throw it down

I'll throw it down

there is no way the bucs beat philly this week. Sf has depleated secondary, no rush to speak of, and was playing on there turf. Brad Johnson will not get comfortable this week at all. Philly rolls
24-6. :D :D :D

Philly will roll for one reason:

Tampa's OL is warmed over garbage. They will cave under the constant heat from the Eagle blitz. Hence, BJ will turn it over early and often.

Bucs

Bucs

SF's D was bad when it landed in Tampa. Early in the game they lost 2 bad cover guys only to replace them with worse cover guys. TB is not quite the Rams of yesteryear. They will struggle against the somehow underated Philly D.

Don't count out the 'Duce either. We all know the secret of defeting this bucs team is to run right around thier front 4. I'm leaning on Tampa , but my reservations are still out on Brad J. being the savior of this franchise.

Duce is going to run WIDE on Tampa D ??????????????????
How and with what for speed?????
Did he just elevate his "speedabilility" into the Mike Vick time warp ?????
Duce is going to beat Bucks himself by running wide when the Temps WILL be cool or cold, making it THAT MUCH HARDER to try to 'sweep' or run wide ??????????????
WOW, you really got me,I never even thouhgt of that point!!
Since when and where did "the duce" get such Mercury Morris type speed???????
Thanks,but I just don't see it.......Spanky,,,,,:nono: :nono:

Spanky, I review all posts and looked to see who you were directing your comments too and I found no one except myself. I stated that Duece would run STRAIGHT into the Bucs D. Not wide because you can't out run thier corners. Duece will have to Bang out 2-3-4-5 yard runs to win. I'm talking A or B gap stuff here no wide.
Wide against TB is suicide. :nono:

Tampa away from home?
Tampa in cold weather??

Tampa looks great at Raymond James! What about on the road, say, at the Vet?

I think Philly -3 (bought 1/2)

GL to ALL--should be a great game regardless!

I look for Philyy due to my old ways of thinking. T Bay Wide outs are slow. At least compared to some of the leagues better ones. Yes they make catches but not the kind that burn you fast. This week they play a DF's as good or many say even better then there own. They must run on Philly to win. I do not believe they will have 55 yrds running against Philly. T B, QB Johnson has to be able to run an help his team in the tight spots. He's not good at it at all. Philly has same problem to a point. But there QB can run and help his team just when needed. They are at home. It will be cold for both teams. This games posted O/U number tells me Philly and no blow out. But Philly by 7. They are the better team. They showed that when they lost not only there 1st QB but there 2nd one. Then went and won 5 games with there 3rd stringer.
