Funny chit Saint. I feel the same way about Indiana. Can't stand Duke Vitale either. He makes it impossible to enjoy watching a game. Repeats himself more times than Jim Rome.

nobody beats unc 13 out of 15 times do they.best quote after the drug arrest was mccants saying i hope he doesn't do anything to jeapodize his{turnmeoncurry}scholarship.lot of class with your program.of course if you make the nit roy and mccants can shed another tear together in the green room.you did read where ole roy told him he would go with him to the green room for nba draft if he stayed 4 yrs.very touching.as ole roy said it best i don't give a s__t about carolina.

Actually, there is a reason why dook is the University of NJ at Dook. It's because our school systems are the best in the country. Go look if you want.

And to answer your other question, I had a ride at any school in the country. I didn't chose to visit dook because their team sucked, but chose UNC over Stanford and Harvard if you really want to try and bust my balls. Still have my acceptance letters from them both :thefinger

i knew you were a smart guy.that's great.my sister and i both had full rides at duke,she turned down morehead at unc for ab duke or whatever it is called.needless to say she made right decision.sort of like shav.by the way my local has moved total to 157.5 so i laid off total but have a nickel on rashad.now that is a scary thought.maybe jameson curry has a nickel bag on it .any truth to the rumor wash power forward has not qualified.

ray ratto with espn has another article on duke and nba.you can go to dukebasketball.com to read.do not see what is wrong in making college players the best they can be in college.i for one am glad that duke plays as a team and doesn't seem to be proving ground for fast track to nba.wouldn't have hurt jordan,carter,wallace,stackhouse,daugherty,forte,jamison,worthy or any others to have stayed in college longer.duncan seemed to enjoy it.duke hired coach to put the best team on the floor each night-they didn't hire him to motivate players like rashad that if he stayed four yrs he would go to the green room and sit the night of the nba draft.that is why there will always be fundamental differences in the programs and the type of recruits each have.

As far as the wash forward, i'll have to check nothing heard on this end. as far as your sister, it's hard to turn down a degree from dook, pretty much can name your job with that. have to leave for the game, have fun watching it. hopefully it will be competitive. talk to you when its over im sure.

Well, not much in the mood for rehashing this game from my memory, but I'll see what I can do. Here are my post game reflections.

1. Yet again, the heels fold down the stretch and lose a game they should have won. They go the 6:30 in the last 7 minutes without a bucket when they were up 7. A la florida st, wake forest, maryland, almost uconn. I really don't get it about this team. Sometimes I feel like doherty's class will be cursed until they are gone. For some reason, these guys can't win the games they are supposed to. They fold at the end.

2. Shelden williams, shelden williams, shelden williams. He won this game for duke. Absolutely dominant inside. I must admit I didn't think he was that strong of a player, but that opinion has certainly changed. He is the reason duke got the w.

3. Horrendous officiating. It really was bad BOTH WAYS. Yes, that was a missed foul when deng got hit on that lose ball but it was nothing malicous. Duke had some really obvious fouls, as did we. Overall this year, I think the ACC officiating has been horrible and i think something needs to be done about it.

4. One promising note for when we head to Cameron. Jackie Manuel absolutely shut reddick down. Besides a few 3s, he didn't figure much in this outcome except on the foul line where he is mr. automatic.

5. Sean May, when are you going to be in good enough shape to play a full game at full intensity. At this point, I don't think it's gonna happen ever with the way Roy wants to run. On the plus side, he was strong on the boards (20 rebs i think). But he's still soft and misses some easy layups.

It was a great game, another one that will be added to the long list of great duke-carolina games. Unfortunately, puke won. And the worst part is that is was a game we had in our hands, and let it slip away. That's enough for me, time to go down a few beers and hit the sack.

Congrats lowell, i look forward to the rematch and then another hopefully in the acc tourny.

certanly i am pleased-win game and win very,very large play on unc and large parley with total.lost ml.coach k gave all the credit to unc on radio.refs were bad but they did not decide game.why take may out in ot for 1.5 minutes.why not use t.o. during scoring drought.at the end thought felton would do what duhon did-just attack.nonetheless wake in 1st half might be great play on sat.lastly,it does make you wonder why the effort we saw tonight has been absent for much of the year.i am happy to win but am happier that deng was not hurt.

You make some great points. Roy has been a little suspect of his decisions. Sean was not in because he was tired, he cramped up in the end even w/ the rest. As far as the last play, felton needs to take that ball to the rack. He's the man of this team, he needs to create there instead of dishing to scott. Roy doesn't seem to like to use timeouts in down periods, i don't get it.

FYI - word is that the ACC officials got a warning about calling fouls. The last two week have been horrific. ACC games have averaged more than 5 fouls per game than any other league. They got the word to lay off and they did tonight.

did not listen to packer but saw analogy of case and then bubas both from indy.mcguire stepped down and dean took over.before dean retired k took over-i was at his 1st win vs unc when banks hit shot for ot and then shot to win-since dean retired k has been top dog.now with roy we will see some great matchups.k will retire first and then it will be dawkins.and then at unc it will be...guess you saw during game how players seem to help each other up off floor.both teams actually get along better than fans.good luck vs wake and go to hell carolina.no change that to go to hell texas.
