They shot 38 free throws to 18 for Wofford.
It is ironic Clemson has never beaten UNC in Chapel Hill but a 7-4 Wofford team is able to get the upset. They deserved to win . Played smart basketball. Reminded me of a Butler or Belmont team.

the southern conference is the real deal. also last night furman took tennessee down to the wire on the vols home court. just a few days ago uncg beat nc state in raleigh. mercer, etsu and samford are also teams to keep an eye on. the next seth curry is down there somewhere.

All this is part of the vein of "strange doings" that happen around the semester break/ holidays/ parties/ pre conference that seem to happen each year. :scared

No team is immune. I looked at 4 games yesterday but played none. All 4 were losers. Makes me a bit cautious every year. :shrug:

We have some EARLY stuff today. La Tech looks intriguing.

Just checked Wofford?s schedule and they lost by 21 to Gamecocks, 15 to California, 24 to Texas Tech and 20 to UNC Asheville. That was a terrible loss by the Heels. Will not look good when they punch the dance card in March.
