I guarantee you if you make it to where the QB can only throw outside the hashes you've solved the problem. If your receiver runs across the middle of the field they should throw a flag. I mean its all about safety so lets take away the play where the receiver can't see defenders coming.

The second ejection I can see. The first one, NO WAY! He roughs the passer but he targeted the guys left shoulder. Thats where he pushed off of. If he was targeting the head, he was close enough to tear his head off.
The d-back lead with, and hit the tight end, with a helmet to helmet hit and if that's the rule, then he should have been ejected, and he was. Is it a good rule? :shrug:

Wait until I can find video of the second one they called in the game, far worse than the first.
And unless you already have brain damage, you can tell that these two plays above are far from the same thing yet they were penalized the same. Kinda the point.

Flag was for targeting on 4th and 4. After review he stayed in the game but penalty for "Targeting" remained:facepalm:
I would have to think the officials are under a ton of pressure to call these. They are jumping the gun and I bet that making a bad call is better than missing a call that should of been. I bet the NCAA has told them DON"T MISS A CALL.
