1-0 after my first pick in a long time won on Monday. This is another rivalry game with UNC making the short trip to Durham. To me this line is an Admiral Ackbar Special. With the way UNC has been playing lately, it seems like it should be in the single digits. I think the books are looking for UNC money.

Admiral Ackbar has his money down on Duke, as much as he hates their evil empire.

Line came in about 2 higher than I thought. Marshall has been great lately, but we'll see how he does in front of the Cameron Crazies for the first time. They will be hard on Barnes as he ditched the Devils for the lighter shade of blue. If wee can weather the early storm and can keep w/i 5 at half, we'll have a shot but would not bet my $$ on UNC tonight. Go Heels!

I ended up taking UNC ML VERY small. Just took Duke 2nd half. As long as Carolina wins I'll be happy, could middle it up to 4pt win.

I don't think Vegas or anyone else, including Carolina fans, was expecting a 16 point Carolina leading the first half. That is quite possibly the most pathetic half of intensity Duke has ever exhibited on their home floor. Duke wins and doesn't cover. Nothing like double penetration. :sadwave:

Yeah that sucked. I did win a little bit of money but tough loss for UNC. Actually 14-pt lead at halftime after giving up last shot of the 1st half.

Curry killed us 2nd half. Nice showing by Carolina, wish they would have won but I think they have a good chance to win out until rematch against Duke and then try to make a tourney run. Should be a fun few weeks up coming.

i'm not a coack k fan but you have to give him credit. marshall dazzles the seminoles and everybody (including loophole) sings his praises while k sees him as a freshman to be exposed as such. when carolina had the ball, they ignored him and cut off the passing lanes. marshall couldn't finish, going 3 for 11 on mostly uncontested shots in the lane' yet was held to a mere six assists.when duke went on offense, they went right at him, smith and curry wearing him out, especially in the second half. k outshines williams yet again.

I'd be a hell of a lot more impressed with him if his team didn't come out in the first half like they had just woken up from 18 hours of sleep after a 3-day bender. EVERY single player but Smith was not in the game the first half. That falls on the coach. Singler never got in the game. Don't know what his problem was.

That said, he must have given a hell of a tantrum at halftime. I wish I could have listened to that.
