Deep in the heart of Texas
Ocelot,
Where did you learn your history? This country was founded as a result of the oppressive colonial taxation system which afforded no representation or redress of grievances. It was founded as a beacon of freedom for religious freedom, with mutual self protection. It was up to the individual to provide for his own food, clothing, and shelter. The generosity of one's neighbor, family,or church insured our mutual survival. The founding fathers were not socialist (progressionists) . We now have 4th generation welfare "families". I'm sure our founding fathers would be very dismayed with the intrusion, and confiscatory taxation policy we have developed, and would certainly not identify with a socialist progressionist state.

So Cal
Ocelot - what EXACTLY do you consider behind the times? Do you agree with the redistribution of wealth? If so, where do YOU draw the distinctions? And where do you draw the line on handouts from the public trough? Who do you want to give your tax money to (disabled, etc) and to whom not (teenage unmarried mom of 2 or 3)? Just interested to see what you meant by "behind the times".

Isn't if funny how leftists can't make a reasonable arguement?

All of their posts are simple one-sentence hit and run attacks. No leftists will post a legitimate multi-sentence response because it exposes their lack of logic & reason.

Watch the political arena closely and you will notice this is true.

Good post Ferdville -- I had a feeling that would get the left-wingers' panties in a bunch!!! too funny

Leftists find it impossible to make reasonable arguments. When you show them facts they get mad and change the subject or try to insult you.

That is why the democratic party has sunk down into the bottom of the toilet. You're right...all liberal posts are simple one-sentence hit and run attacks.

Ever notice how Ocelot is very good at discreditting and insulting people but when you call his bluff he vanishes?

Domybest and Ferdville - don't even waste your time asking him to back up his rediculous comments, he never does.
