IMO - he was as good as advertised! That pick 6 was nice, yeah I know it was against Mauck and other second teamers, but Taylor's read and react was right on the money. Did you see the size difference when he picked off that ball in the endzone - he made that WR look pop-warner.

Was nice to see Springs full extension INT. Give us skins fans a little "champ who" feeling. Washington #53 played well, all in all can be too disappointed with the Skins in their first game out. Well except Jansen going down - :cursin:

THANK GOD football is back

Too early to tell how good Taylor will be --- but I was impressed at his speed to size ratio, he looked like a linebacker out there when he made that pick. Big boy out there patrolling.

6'2 and 231 not bad for a guy that has CB speed. D-Co Williams said the best thing about Taylor is they can leave him in as a CB if the other team goes into a multi-wideout set.

To give a comparison of size, Ray Lewis of Baltimore is 6'1 & 241!!! :scared Now that is a house at safety.

Blackman, what happened to Kearse? I heard something about injuring his ankle (the bad one), is it a real bad injury? With those injuries on D (Kearse and Dawkins) might be a long season for Philly Defense. Even longer for the Skins QB with Jansen blowing out his achillies. If anyone can replace him Bugel will find him!

Latest reports I've read on Kearse is that that injury is pretty minor. There is talk that he'd be able to play on Friday vs NE but that would be stupid in my opinion. The rumors got blown out of proportion because he rode on the cart to the training room which is a hike from the practice field.

As for Dawkins he should be ready for week 1, but fingers are crossed.

Happy to report that Kearse participated in practice this morning and is fine.

I can now breathe a sigh of relief --- for now.

I noticed that size diff immediately on the pick into the end zone play. Good instincts and nice pick.

Taylor looks like a keeper

The possiblities of a guy that size and speed on a defense are endless. I watched him in college and I thought he was good then, but who knows what a guy will be like playing on sunday. It was good to see him get to the ball not just on the 2 INT's but on the running plays as well.

Denver Rookie WR Watts was impressive but showed a little of the dropsies. He should get better with pre-season and watch out for him come the week 1.

I agree about Taylor. He looks like the real deal. He's got that field presence - and it's not just cuz he was against backups.

Watts was a little nervous it looked like. I'm sure he'll get over that.

Ramsey was HORRIBLE. Is he just rusty, or is his game in trouble.

Griffin made Denver look smart - very little dropoff from Portis.
