They've looked bad all year, it really shouldn't come as a surprise. I got burned a few times early in the season... boo urns. Mind you, they were in a tough spot. Caps are playing well @ home and TBAY came in on the back-end of b2b games.
I was just crunching this stat earlier.... currently the 9 NHL teams under .500 are 8-25 (32%) on the back end of B2B games. Don't have the stat off the top of my head, but obviously teams in this situation on the road faired even worse. The stat isn't that shocking, but considering that Tbay were a significant road favourite, things were not right from the get-go. Haven't calculated the ATS record, but things look dismal for bad teams with 2 in 2 nights (obviously).
