TCU -7 over Arkansas *****
Although both teams had some concerns last week..Frogs beat South Dakota St but they gave up over 330 yds in passing...and gave up 41 pts vs a FCS team...Hogs just beat La Tech 22-21....but TCU offense is so explosive...gained over 600 yds and found a replacement for Boykin..Hill the transfer from AM passed for over 400 yds,ran for a few TD's...might be even better then Boykin..Hill was a few years a Heisman watch player at AM...Taj is a solid wr and Turpin is a 5'8 waterbug the can catch it and return punts...Ark has a new Qb,3 new O-Linemen and one solid RB...TCU plays that no huddle,spread it out and with dual threat Hill cannot see the Hogs staying with them Hogs will play ball control and pound in it...but think they will be playing from behind and have to pass more...think TCU defense wakes up and Frogs win this by 3 or 4 tds...
Baylor -32 over Smoo *****
Bears offense is loaded...Russell will throw all over the Smoo defense...Smoo although beat North Texas still struggled...Davis the duel threat qb looked terrible vs North Texas...over threw his Wr's...was 8-17 before he hurt his knee...he might not play tomorrow...and if he doesn't Bears win this by 50....Davis is there main threat...in last yrs game Baylor had over 700 yds vs Smoo...think this game is a blowout....could be 32-0 at the half...last 2 years Frogs beat the Ponies 56-21 and 45-0...that's 101-21..
Army -8.5 over Rice **
Army a favorite...last time they were a home favorite was vs -5 Fordham and-3 Tulane last year..they lost both...but last week they were a 2 td underdog and won by 2 td's..vs Temple...no fumbles..linebacker became starting fullback...they controlled the ball on the ground. Bradshaw only pitched out maybe 2 or 3 times...Army D played outstanding...they had 344 total yds with only 13 passing yds...Rice has Armys number but I am drinking the cool aid here at the Point..." did Army turn the corner,are they for real"...that is what is on the web sites,radio,TV....
Not sure if anyone knows but Army got into big trouble from their post game lockeroom. Monken the coach had everybody kneel and said a prayer....it went on facebook and everyone saw it..you cannot pray I guess...I watched it and it was so innocent...West Point is making Monken make a public apology today or tomorrow...so think the Nites will be fired up tomorrow..small play... I did play a parlay because earlier in the week the line was Army -10..so I did take a +10 Rice for a small play.
