Big game in Waco this Saturday. A year's worth of bragging rights for me or having to listen to Baylor fans trash talk for a year is on the line.
The overall record is 51-51-7. Patterson holds a 4-2 record against Baylor but only 2-2 against Briles. Actually holds a bigger record if you go back to when Briles was at Houston. They never beat TCU while both were in CUSA.
2010 - TCU 45 BU 10 (TCU was still in the MWC. Andy Dalton was near perfection. RGIII called the game a fluke.)
2011 - BU 50 TCU 48 (RGIII's Heisman year. Baylor wins on a 4th qtr FG.)
2012 - TCU 49 BU 21 (Boykin's first start at QB. Had 4 passing TDs and 1 rushing TD.)
2013 - BU 41 TCU 38 (Casey Pachall almost leads the comeback, but throws an INT in the endzone to end the game.)
So, if you believe in trends, it should be TCU's turn to win big. Baylor is better at defense and TCU is better at offense. So, which unit makes the biggest impact?
Also, there's a 50% chance of rain Saturday here in Waco. Good luck in whatever you decide to do.
