education and upbringing begin and end at home.
It's not the educators responsibility to instill the quest for knowledge.It's the parents.
It's the educator responsibility to sate the childs quest for learning and understanding.
If you are going to have them ..then raise them and instill the quest for life and learning starting at birth.
As sad as that looks, I am willing to bet you could pick 10 randomly generated Madjack members, and well over 50% could not place all 50 states names correctly on a blank map.

i don't see how you can tell that a kid didn't write that, either way, that map is missing 7 states!
