Every year, there are these teams, I will call them "teams of destiny." They keep covering the number, yet many will fade them until they lose. Kansas City is obviously #1 this year that would fall into this category. Other notables are Dallas, Carolina, Minnesota....teams we bet against after they get hot, and they continue to win. Past years include the 2001 bears, 2002 bucs, 2001 pats, '99 rams....and we could go on and on. Understanding that Dallas and Minny both lost last wk SU and ATS, are we, as bettors, better off staying away from games involving these teams, or just get even more frustrated as these teams continue to burn the books? Or, are we too early to jump shark on these teams that the public eventually jumps on, and rides to victory for a while? Personally, I always fade these teams early....starting playing against KC w/GB, Oak, and again last night w/the Bills...Better to ride the team til they lose (I know that has been very popular in the past, but tough to do w/so much parody in the league), or just try to pick your spots (which I felt I've been doing) and hope the team finally does have a let down. Did like TB and Big Blue yesterday, but probably doesn't make up for all the times I've faded these "teams of destiny." Any thoughts would be welcomed. Good luck guys.
