I'll tell you one thing a lot of what I say will hinge Thursday, not if they lose but if they win. Even though it's opening night with many games to go a win in Seattle would be a big step in right direction. It would definitely put a big blow in my action and this thread.

they'll lose thurs night, but cover :SIB

Here's the deal.

Are the Packers better than Minnesota, why yes they are, have been for 20 years, they have had the best QB situation forever. If Vikings had Rodgers they would win division hands down. Their roster outside of QB is better than Green Bays and it's not debatable IMO.

Marine.. Packers haven't swept the Vikings in 3 years
As for the fans.. Yes it must be different here because they are talking Super Bowl and "Look how good the first string defense has been in the preseason." Just to get rolleyes from me. They are bragging up Dix like he's the next Ronnie Lott. Big talk from the Northern WI folk how they are going to roll into Seattle and win like Seattle is some chump. A few fans have told me, "you haven't been watching the preseason have you?" My answer is no.

For the Eddie Lacy bust prediction it had more to do with Green Bay not having a very good offensive line and the fact he came from Alabama. Bama running backs usually do not fair well. I was wrong, Lacy has proven to be more than adequate with a lot of toughness and under rated coming from the backfield.

I do not always rag the Packers, I predicted them to win in 2010 and had them repeating in 2011. I have correctly picked their season over under for past 5 years.

As for ragging on the Packers the past few seasons, You Packer fans do not think they deserve to be ragged on? They won the Super Bowl had the building blocks to build a dynasty but have done nothing but regress since then. If winning the division and being 1 and done the past 3 years after winning a Super Bowl in 2010 is the goal then Rock On. The Packers deserve to be ripped, they have fielded a shit defense for years and again this year they try to put a bandaid on it. The defense is going to suck again but most Packer fans here are expecting a complete turnaround and a playoff appearance, just look at the pre season.

I count GB up 7-1-1 since 2010. (3 years)
Are scores tallied differently in Minnesota?
And if memory serves correctly, that lone loss was a Week 17 game when the Packers just packed it in so they could play the vikes again in the first round of the playoffs, which as history shows, was just like a bye week for them.
It also put them into the second round of the playoffs. So yet again, your drooling about being a one and done in the playoffs is more blabbering hatred.

2010 October 24 Green Bay Packers 28-24 Minnesota Vikings 71,107 Green Bay, Wisconsin

2011 October 23 Green Bay Packers 33-27 Minnesota Vikings 63,946 Minneapolis, Minnesota
2011 November 14 Green Bay Packers 45-7 Minnesota Vikings 70,519 Green Bay, Wisconsin
2012 December 2 Green Bay Packers 23-14 Minnesota Vikings 70,567 Green Bay, Wisconsin

I meant 3 season ago and the Packers did not pack it in, they played every starter, they didn't bench anyone.
Oh and I was off by what a couple months. November 14, 2011 and its Sept 01 2014, my bad

Oh thats right the did beat the Vikings in a wild card round where the Vikes QB was a late scratch in warm ups and they went with Joe Webb, Although the Vikes were going to lose anyways. They have been 1 and done in the other years since the Super Bowl. Yep and I don't even know how the Vikings got into when talking about the Packers?

Is that your only argument to the thread is the Vikings suck and the Packers have owned them? Or are you unable to admit the Packers have had lack luster drafts with a shit defense? I have a lot of people coming in here saying the Vikings suck. I think the Packers have legitimate concerns and are not going to be able to walk over the division like normal. I could be wrong but Packer fans does the usual, gets butt hurt when team is criticized even though it is warranted.

No, I really don't have an argument that the Packers are the greatest team in the history of the universe. You're not saying anything that everyone else doesn't already know - you just seem to make it the sole focus of your existence and that somehow you believe no one else sees what you see. Is the Packer defense a bit weak? You bet it is. Is it frustrating as a packer fan to see them not do more to address the issue? You bet it is.
Does it mean that the NFL is laying down smoke and mirrors to cover this up and create the illusion that the Packers are the #1 team in the NFL year after year? no.

I can certainly appreciate how sore you get when talking about the Packers though. I mean, here you are, in the state right next door and you have to deal with a Vikings team that is managed poorly, has B-level players with such mediocrity you've gotten so used to you think they are A-listers, and your team is a doormat for the rest of the league. You're so blind in your jealous rage and spasms of vile filth that you overlook simple facts and numbers - that destroy the very crux of your blabberings. It's boring.

So what's worse-
an above average team that gets into the playoffs year after year after year but doesn't win the SuperBowl like 30 other teams in the league,
or
A below average team, that on paper you convince yourself is the better team, but is going to be lucky to win over 6 games this year.

I can't argue your talks about the Vikings, I can write a novel about the idiots who have run that organization. I am fairly good at predicting season totals, I'm taking the Vikes over 6, is there a chance it loses, yeah there is, not because the teams isn't improving or they do not have A list talent, it's because they have nothing established at QB and a tough schedule but they had shit last year and didn't win because of giving up late scores. They have better coaching now.

As for me being sore about the Packers? Hardly the guys like Poolplayer, Heleanth, LivingtotheEnd get it, I do this just about every year. It gets you guys out of the woodwork. Enjoy the season,..
