Teaser question?

I keep hearing you should not tease through zero. Anyone have opinions on this?

I would buy down to -3 or -2.5 instead.

i was always told not to do it . maybe if you are using a 10 or 13 pt teaser and u can get it to more than 7 but generally not a good way to bet teasers

If you feel strongly who would win the ML then I say tease through 0 on a 10pt+ teaser, I do it alot.

I do not think there are any clear cut rules for teasers. I do a lot of teasers in the NFL and I tease through zero especially when I can get 3.5 or 4.5 in a 10 pointer. I will also do so to get +3 in regular teasers where ties push. Basically only do it to get the FG +. If I think they win, I look at ML pars or parlaying buying it down.

I guess you could do a 6 point teaser on it...

Exactly right.

By losing that point, you lose what little advantage you had in teasing the number, since you still have to hit both legs of the teaser to win....


I only play "Wong Teasers" -- teasing the dog up through the 3 and 7 and teasing the home fav down through the 7 and the 3....

Last weekend I played a RR of the three small dogs in three Wong teasers and went 3-0.

I will tease past zero(best pick ) , reason I do I want the points on my other game . if Im afraid of losing 1 point on my top pick , I need another top pick ,
