Talk about controlling the tempo by the refs.

the only thing that i can say is that kenyon martin has played terrible tonight, and billups didn't show until late in the second.

other than that, the lakers have received a number of helpful foul calls.

on the other side, the nugs take a tremendous amount of bad shots and waste possession, and that is on them - not the refs.

Refs helping LAL for sure so far.... Course, we all know that the ref's help really only matters in the final minute lately.... They always leave their own mark...

I agree. The refs are always the biggest factor in the game, which is sad. They make countless terrible mind-boggling calls and you just wonder why and how none of the players just rip their heads off.

You can just as easily say the refs lent some help to Denver in game 2.
