I'm ready to tangle with some dopes this w/e. Bring 'em on, I say.

It's not like they have suddenly discovered the secret. This angle is gold, man, GOLD!

maybe some of the dopes realize that they are dopes, so after the first few weeks of dopey picks they decide to choose opposite of who they really like....remember they are dopes and all of us have been tempted to do the very same thing during a cold streak. ...so by choosing opposite of their true thoughts they ended up with a respectable 5-3-1 in week 5, the question is will they revert back to their real (dopey) picks this week or will they continue to choose opposite picks, remember they are dopes so we will really never know how their brain works, unless of course some of us are dopes, then maybe just maybe we will know what will truly happen. I hope this clears everything up for everyone including the dopes that do read these non-dopey boards of madjack....

I'm in an Office Pool at work with 41 people. Each week we get to select a total of 4 games from College and Pro with the spreads. Some people pick a combo of both but some pick all pro. All lines are set on Tuesday so line movement doesn't change the spread.

Last Week
3-1
2 ML dog winners

Overall Record
14-8-1

10 moneyline dog winners

I've been fading these for the past 5 years and hit about 60% but the money lines are the key.

The 3 selections for this week are right in line with your pool picks.

Fading these for Sunday:

Falcons -4.5 12-0

Chiefs -5.5 9-2

Pats +3 7-0

For what it's worth, the side with the most choices on it has lost all 5 weeks.

The only bad trend is when underdogs have been picked they are 0-3-1 if you faded them.

Good Luck

Phil

The dopes in my office pool are right in line with the rest of 'em... out of 22 guys, the top picks are NYG (17, although there is a NY bias), Carolina (16), Atlanta (17), Pitt (16), & NE (16). This makes me really like Dallas (which I hate, because I don't think they can come up with a big effort 2 weeks in a row) and Denver because, as good as fading the public is, I think it's even better when the public is on the dog.

Funny money on two games. CHI & CIN. The money was on Min early and has gone the other way steady, to me that means take Chi. In the CIN game the money was on them early, went the other way and is back on them, to me the play is CIN. Cin is the play, not sure about the Min game because of how the public has reacted to story that surrounds them this wk. I'll update at 12:30 for those who follow what I'm saying. It is hard to explain but I have hit 2 times on money moves like this this yr.
