Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) made headlines in October 2013 when he read the Dr. Seuss children?s book ?Green Eggs and Ham? as part of his filibuster to block a vote on continued funding of the Affordable Care Act, otherwise known as Obamacare.
But now, in a seemingly ironic development, Cruz and his family will be getting their health benefits through the federal health care exchange created by the the very same Obamacare.
Cruz told CNN?s Dana Bush Tuesday that he?ll sign up for the coverage because his wife is leaving her job at Goldman Sachs to help in his presidential campaign and they are therefore losing the family?s current insurance.
Cruz says no, he is just following the law.
"I believe we should follow the text of every law, even (a) law I disagree with," Cruz told CNN. "It's one of the real differences -- if you look at President Obama and the lawlessness, if he disagrees with a law he simply refuses to follow it or claims the authority to unilaterally change."

how ironic Cruz feels the need to get his healthcare thru Obamacare since his wife no longer provides it.
