Actually, there are several reasons I like this game.
1st one is defense. I will take double digit points with a top notch defense any day, and Auburn only allows 16 points per game.
2nd is that Auburn needs to win to be bowl eligible, so this is essentially a "playoff" game for them. The crowd will definitely be in to the game.
3rd is that Georgia is down. Their dreams of a National Chapmpionship are crushed, and so are they.
4th. RIVALRY. These two teams bring it every year, regardless of records. Similar to USC vs UCLA. This game will be no different.
I don't see this game being more than 3 - 4 points either way, with Auburn a decent chance of winning straight up. A small money line play may be a good choice as well.
I hear it Tee, 9.5 is heavy for a game like this. its gonna be a good weekend...GL just a question, do you ever grab lines during the week, or it pretty much the day off thing for you? I can see the disadvantages of jumping on something tues/weds for the weekend with so many days for things to play out. but on heavy favs, which is what I mostly jump on, I like thinkig I'm stealing some free points every now and then. keep it up tee, I just started posting but I have followed your picks and few others for a while now. To answer your question, I will look at and follow early week lines, but I never make my plays until the morning of the games. I will watch movements in the line. More importantly, I like to see what the weather is gonna be, if there are any last minute injuries or suspensions ( see Florida St. this week). Am I missing some opportunites, yeah probably, but that's just the way I do it.
