We just moved and got a new bed and a TempurPedic king size mattress.

A woman I work with was raving about it last week saying she hasn't slept as good for most of her life until she got the mattress.

Just curious......anyone else have same thoughts?:shrug:

Since used mattresses don't sell well, I figured if I don't like it, i'll just chuck it into the creek.

I owned a TempurPedic for a while. i think with any other mattresses, it's not going to fit everyone.

This mattress was one of the worst things for my backs ever.

We now have a comfort select, and it fits me well.

But... they are great for NOT sleeping activities.

Been reading mixed reviews online. Some people swear they are the best invention ever, some think its a lot of hype.

Gonna test it out for a few weeks before I make a final decision.

Just discovered that I have 60 days and I can send it back.

I got one about a year ago and love it.
as noted earlier, these mattress will cause you to adjust how you perform certain activities in the bedroom. I am not a fan of the mattress for those things.

We have one and I like it. My old mattress turned into a fucking canoe, lol, so this is a nice change of pace. Now that I think about it, we've had this mattress for 4 years. Holds up pretty well. I have back issues, but it is mostly tied to how I sleep, not what I sleep on. I have heard these are bad for your back and I have heard they are great. Who fucking knows.

Been thinking about getting one soon too. Much like you, I'm in the same boat as I hear different things. I have had a few back problems (minor) in the past, saw a chiropractor for 2 months last year. However, would like to sleep on something better than this old sealy queen we have.

I've heard that a lot depends on what kind of sleeper you are: back, side or stomach. Think I remember that side sleepers are less likely to enjoy.

I was having some back issues a couple years ago. I talked to my chiropractor about it. He gave me a few names of Chiropractic mattress makers, got one and it's great. Built for the person with lower back problems. I recommend you talk to a Chiropractor in your area that you know and trust...............The End

Check out the Serta iComfort when you go shopping. Just got a new mattress and the wife was deadset on the tempurpedic due to what she had read online. We get to the store and preferred the iComfort and it was less expensive.

Already set up and ready to go with the TempurPedic. I will return it if I don't like it.
