I had a play on Kevin Anderson vs Ryan Harrison in ATP Winston Salem this afternoon. I went to get an update and see that somebody else is playing vs Harrison. Anyone know what happened to Anderson and I would imagine the bet simply cancels...I hope...

Thanks for any feedback or info.

The :canada1 Pierre-Ludovic Duclos def. Ryan Harrison 7-5, 7-5

Pierre-Ludovic Duclos got a "lucky loser" and got a spot into 2nd round of the main draw taking the 6th seed Kevin Anderson's spot.

Obviously your bet is canceled.

Note: Very Very rare for a "Lucky Loser" to get into a 2nd round of an ATP event. Very rare. Kevin Anderson received a bye into the round of 32's and thus had not played a match. When he pulled out Duclos took his spot.

Almost all ATP events DO NOT award byes into 2nd round, so a "lucky loser" getting a spot in the 2nd round is very rare.

By the way, my buddy was at the match and Ryan Harrison acted like a little bitch and broke 3 rackets. Those :canada1 can really piss off those young Americans:mj07:

Note: Pierre-Ludovic Duclos got a "Lucky Loser" at a Challenger event in Guadalajara, Mexico at the end of June. He ended up going all the way to the final:scared

The dude knows how to win when he gets a "Lucky Loser".

Oh and by the way he went from making $910 to making $8400 all from getting a "Lucky Loser", not too shabby.

Good call of Ram......that was a couple years ago and of course it wasn't a Grand Slam.

Doubles............

In 2005 Stephen Huss and Wesley Moodie WON WIMBLEDON as "Lucky Losers". And get this, they had never played doubles together. Crazy Crazy shit:scared

Sidenote: Huss played tennis at Auburn University from 1996 to 2000. Moodie played at Auburn University at Montgomery (NAIA). Pretty freaky huh. How about that for some trivia.

Fuck no they don't.

I wish:scared

If in the "big tournies" then yes your hotel is paid for.

Bottom line unless you are "at the top" you pay for everything.

There are some Challengers where your hotel room is paid for:

http://www.atpworldtour.com/Tournaments/Challenger-Tour.aspx

If you see "+H" (Hospitality) then your hotel room is paid for if you are in the main draw of singles only. That's it.

Bottom line.......unless you are "at the top" you pay for everything, maybe just maybe you'll get a free meal, maybe.
