- - I see USF playing with passion, and with a decided edge at QB, and with the ability to set the tempo with favorable matchups on both sides of the ball, if they properly value said ball on offense.

- - A live dog that needs the will to keep GT from continually rushing for the needed yards at the needed times.

Florida(-10)(-120) over Michigan (1*)
- - Michigan's emotion might give them a 10 minute edge, but I believe Urban Meyer when he says his guys are riled up for this one, too, and Meyer's advantages over Lloyd Carr during those 10 minutes and in a 60 minute game with a month to prepare are capping worthy . . . Atrocious special teams for Michigan are worth half of this spread . . . Tebow from the spread is going to give Michigan all kinds of problems . . . Or Tebow will play with a Heisman hangover and Florida will be flat as compared to last year's lofty heights and Chad Henne won't be a M..... F...... Clown when his school needs his very best.

- - Capped the game all day long . . . Illinois lacks experience, not talent or speed . . . Amazingly, Zook has had them playing within themselves all season long, and they look to have set the table right and are coming in with the same in this one.

Oklahoma(-7)(-120) over West Virginia (1*)
- - Oklahoma's kids and coaches returning to the familiar scenes and routines of last year's classic makes them the play unless there are strong reasons for backing the other side, but piece after piece cuts the other way (as an easily overlooked for instance, the Mountaineer's huge Gator Bowl rally last year to get by Georgia Tech and infuse the program with happy Bowl memories; that's not a good piece of the equation, IMO).

The Georgia play should have been for 2* and this play should be for 1.5*, but I'm still pouting over doing opposite and exactly the wrong things under similar circumstances when I didn't go with my capping over "first impressions" to go with Texas and get off Arizona State, but did go with Illinois and got off USC . . . It's all good, but it all sucks.

LSU(-3)(-120) over Ohio State (1*)
- - (1) In any Bowl scenario, a debacle (Ohio State) from last year matched up with a romp (LSU) from last year always means I'm going to be kicking myself for not taking a live dog if I'm wrong, so that sucks for starters; (2) On multiple occassions I watched LSU and thought they were the best team I had seen vs. I never thought that after watching Ohio State; (3) LSU is rested and healthy after being otherwise, and tested and in New Awlins; and (4) Give me the NFL playoffs over this BCS 24/7.

Same time next year . . . :toast:
