Yeah, I'm back, calling out them horses again.

Usually get a lot of views, mostly robots though :( , but maybe there's a few players that might be interested in how I've been picking them lately....

Didn't even realize that my horse racing vacation would encompass Philly's Atlantic City vacation as well. Took a peek at the entries ONE day and got directed to A.C. Didn't plan on betting a thing but I did see a horse that I knew LUVS Atlantic City and the turf course, Peaches is his name. Bet him for real with $10 bills across the board and sure enough - the bastage finishes 4th.

Bet the Derby; liked Orb, Oxbow, and that Java horse. BTW, that Java horse CAN run alright, but spots the fields he runs against about a quarter of the backstretch; just ridiculous. Liked Orb the best so I put that one top/bot of 5 others (exactas) and played the other two Win/Place. Like almost everbody else - that there Soul horse ruined that day for me.

Philly? Well, the important part is that I spent MANY (like 20+) hours doing some serious statistical studying to try to figure out why my capping failed for the past few months. Hated like hell to change it cause it did TREMENDOUS for about 2 or 3 solid months, ESP. picking HUGE win and exacta payoffs at Philly Park.

Analyzed 80 sprint races (6 1/2 furlongs or less) and about 35 seven furlong races and the stats. pretty much say that I'm wasting my time trying to make illogical events into logical/predictable ones. Hmmm. It did give me some info. and even though it's "degree of confidence" is way too low to think that you're gonna be on the road to riches by using it - I thought I'd give a go last Tues. OF COURSE, I combined it with my own opinion about the races I played. Bottom line is that I played, MIN. BETS, 2 late races. Just experimenting with REAL single dollar bills. First race I played I had 6 exacta tickets, only. Hit the zacta, $25. Next race I played I had 6 exacta tickets and also played one horse to win, only. Nailed the zacta, $56.40 .. AND.. the Wiener, $18+. Funny thing is that the last race I played was a route.

Gonna try some more experimenting for tomorrow and thought I'd put the picks here.

3rd wace: 1,6 top/bot 3,8. That's it.

5th wace: Sure as hell wanted to play this one; really familiar with most of them. Nos. tell me it's a NO PLAY though. Dang! Ain't playing a thing.

7th: 6 top/bot w. 1,3,7,8 .. . AND no. 7 to win.

I believe the 8th and the 10th are PLAYable. I'll be back if I see some interest here.

Oh, the Preakness.

Not gonna put much effort into it like I did the Derby. Sure ain't gonna collect $12+ on Orb dangit. I'm thinking MAYBE Oxbow (good speed, sharp turns, Stevens, 15-1) and Goldencents (Krigger, next to Orb, great post, almost assured of good positioning throughout the race). IF that there MyLute hoss looks EXTRA good in the pre-race, I 'll use that one in zacks.
