Hey cole I think he said he thought it
was first down and that stops clock but
he was saying spike it because once they
mark the spot then they wind the clock
again after a first down.... but either way
what a stupid fuck for not calling timeout
period!!!!!

Completely inexcusable on the coach. I agree, others are to blame. Should have been a 1st down and that's the only reason to spike it there...if the clock is stopped, you spike it, and maybe have a play before the FG.

But you see the clock running.....all you have to do is call timeout. If there is a review, might get the timeout back. Either way, you already got what you wanted which was a nice gain to set up a long but make-able FG.

How do you stand there and watch that many seconds tick off the clock. Just terrible.

but still, as a head coach making millions, YOU HAVE TO HAVE YOUR EYES ON THE CLOCK UNDER A MINUTE REGARDLESS OF SITUATION


and soon as you see that there is only 2 seoncds on clock, who gives a shit if you spike it or not, you are only getting one play in regardless....
