ULM -2.5 over Texas St ******
Love this line ...in the past few years ULM has won by 6 or 7 pts vs Tex...but the line was always -10..Tx covered but lost the game...this yr the line is down to -2.5 and I think the Warhawks win by about the same the past few years..both teams are 1-3 or 1-4 ats this year...the stats on both teams are really not a true indicator because both have played real good teams and have been blown out..ie...Tx lost to tex AM 41-7,Smoo 47-14 and Wyoming 23-14...they were lucky to beat Ga St in OT and beat up a weak Nichols St team last week 24-3...so they rank 323 in total offense 80th in rushing,242 in passing,etc...but again they are playing some pretty good teams..its the same with ULM...they beat Grambling and So Bama30-17..lost to Florida St 55-44 , lost to Iowa St 72-20 and Memphis last week 52-33...so on defense they give up 506 yds per game ranking them 126th...and on pass and rushing there rank in the high 90's and low 100's...but again look who they are playing...
Its hard to compare stats until they start playing teams in there own conference..ULM scored 44 pts vs Fl St and 33 vs off Memphis... overall ULM has a better offense then the Bobcats..Bobcats have a better defense...ULM has a solid dual threat qb in Evans...he has 10 td's and has 1,172 yds in the air and another +250 yds on the ground..he is a group of Wr's in Perdersonn,McCray and another 4 or 5 guys that all avg 12 yds per catch..they have a solid rb in Johnson who has 84-600 yds 4 tds and an avg of 7.1 yds per carry...although tx defense is better think they will have a tough time controlling either the run game or pass game and containing Evans ...these guys had over 419 yds vs Florida St...problem was they gave up 501 on defense...
Bocats offense doesn't have many play makers Twoford and and Taylor are just avg so vs a bad ULM defense can be somewhat neutralized.. their qb Jensen is an accurate passer and beat out Vito last yrs starter... they do have a good wr in White but don't think they have enough offense to keep up with Evans and co..Tx state pass defense is pretty good ranking them 28th but it will be the rush defense that ULM will give them problems esp with Evans running ability and arm...this is any early game Thur nite I think...like ULM to win this on the rd in Sam Marcus by 6-10 pts

UL Monroe -2.5 over Tex St ******
Strong play tonite...line has moved up to -3 in may places but don't think that matters much.. Bobcat defense will have tough time catching up with Evans and their offense...

Indiana -27.5 over Rutgers ****
Scarlet Nites in total confusion.Blackshear is red shirting and Sitkowsli is doing the same..coach fired and Nites have no qb...frosh Lang will start but like some one said on there talk forum.."only 4 months ago he was at his senior prom"..Nunzio the new coach is just 3 yrs from being a HS coach...he had Lang as his qb at Bergan Catholic..they have no backup at all...Carter the Tex Tech tansfer just announced he is retiring from football due to concussions...Rutgers has been out scored and out gained by 100's of points...maybe if Tony Soprano like he did a few years ago was on the sidelines they would have a chance...but he couldn't save them...Indiana presents a major problem for them...they have 3 solid wr's,they play spread out and have a " good mixer of speed and quickness"..they pass 1st and can run effectively... Pennix there QB has a decent arm and can run...we know the Rutgers offense can't score but it defense has breakdowns too..Terps beat them 47-7 last week..Indy almost beat Mich St...Indy wins big in this conf game...Rutgers will not beat anybody until they play Liberty in a few weeks...and even Liberty might beat them...

Tulane -34 over UConn ***
Tulane just shut down last week Army 42-31...they stuffed Armys run and showed Army their option offense..they play so fast they are 6th best rushing offense in the country....they avg 450 yds per game..Huskies defense is bad and think the Wave will just blow them out big...Wave can also pass the ball and have a solid qb....it will be 21-0 before Huskies can blink...this is one very good team...

Army -4 over WKU ***
Watched Monken at his press conference the other day....he admits he got pounded on offense and defense...this team this week in practice is focused...they are embarrassed after winning 15 straight at home...Hopkins was banged up a little but played terrible...think this team is fired up vs WKU despite a good qb and rb in Walker...Army practices this week have been intense and look for them to bounce back big

La Tech -31.5 over UMass ****
UMass just got beat by FIU 44-0..they gained 150 total yds and La Tech has a better defense...they can't pass the ball and have no defense. giving up over 500 yds per game..Tech QB Smith has 1,300 yds passing and 6 td's..he might double that on Saturday...this is a 56-7 blowout and the 6 is only a Skippy Holtz gift when the 3rd string come out and play the 4th qrt..

North Texas +3.5 over So Miss ***
NT got smoked by Houston but this game is big becaue he who wins it takes over 1st place in the West conf of Conf USA.. NT has lost a few games but to Houston,Smoo.. they still have one of the top qb's in the country in Fine...even though they lost 3 in a row think they get back on track with a win over

Box; Great job on UL Monroe!! They should of won by 3 touchdowns. Karma worked it's wonders. A questionable 3rd down PI against Texas St on Monroe's last drive made up for Monroe's turnovers (one on the State 5 yardline). Had 4 units on them.

Sorry probably should of started another thread for today but sice capped a few games early will continue..

Indiana -27.5 over Rutgers ******
added a few more boxes love this game today Indy has a good Qb solid rb and 3 wr's .this is a B-10 league game no mercy rule here... Rutgers is so down..qb Lang is a freshmen and can't throw..he might complete more to Hoosiers players then his own wr's...new coach, new schemes, have one weapon in Pacheco...defense is terrible.. no TE,2 Blackshear and Sitkowski red shirting...Pennix Indy qb didn't play in the Ohio St game..he is pretty good..should have all day to pass with no pressure from RU def line...RU linebackers are solid but secondary will have tough time stopping Indys wr's...see this as a 56-7 game...

La Tech -31.5 over UMass ****
Tech had problems with Rice but Umass plays no defense...think this is a blowout..Umas also has no offense

Tulane -34 over Huskies ****
same as above.. Umass and UConn are both terrible on both sides of the ball..can't score or play defense..Waves spread out option is so quick hitting...Army didn't know what "hit them" last week...either will Huskies

North Texas +3.5 over So Miss ***
the 2 best qb 's in Conf USA are going against each other...Abraham has an arm and North Texas defense could be in trouble..but NT is a much better team playing tougher teams...Fine should be able to move the ball vs So Miss ..not sure of the over-under... that might be the play...

Maryland -3.5 over Purdue **
UAB -12 over **
Navy pk over Tulsa ** Navy coming off Air force win
Houston +7 over Cinncy **
Penn St -3 over Iowa **

Oklahoma -10.5 over Texas *
Oklahoma to score 43.5 pts or more ***
wow..tough game.. texas has covered the past 5 or 6 years..should pass because you have 2 qb's who are on the Heisman watch..Texas db's are hurting and Texas defense even though they played tough vs LSU still might have trouble containing Hurt,Dee Dee, and anybody Lincoln throws in...

San Diego St -3.5 over Wyoming ***
Best play is Indiana big
have a big teaser 4 team teaser **** to win ********
already won with Vir +13,Oregon -12 and have Dallas Cowboys +3 over Jets and Indiana -17.5
