Offensive line coach Joe Pendry, who coached the offense under Dom Capers in Carolina, will take over. Pendry also was Wade Phillips' coordinator in Buffalo, when the team skewed very heavily towards the run. Coach Dom Capers reportedly was at odds with Palmer because he wanted a run-focused offense.
