TEXAS A&M +13.5 (Friday) - This is the second time in 4 years that A&M has come into the Texas game immediately following a major tragedy. They posted an emotional 20-16 outright upset win back in 1999, on the same week that several students were killed when a bonfire went out of control at a pep rally. Now, the Aggies must cope with the death of Brandon Falls, who passed away on Monday from a blood clot in his lungs. They have dedicated the Texas game to Falls, and plan to all wear a patch with his number on their helmets. As for matters on the field, A&M can be excused for last week?s home overtime loss to Missouri, as that was a prime ?sandwich? game the week after they upset Oklahoma and the game before Texas. The Longhorns had any remote national title hopes dashed with their 42-38 loss at Texas Tech in their last game, and they are simply too risky an investment here, giving nearly 2 touchdowns to what figures to be a very emotional rival.

A&M all the way on this one. Not a bad money line pick, either. The Longhorns are having major trouble with their run game right now. (couldn't even run on Texas Tech)

a week ago steelcity selections (burgh) posted a trend that has worked-about unbeaten teams after they lose-that they are a good go against the next time out-reasoning is there championship hopes are down the drain? now texas already lost but they still had a shot until tech beat them-now where will there minds be on friday? think alot of points in this one and a&m is the wtg! gl

btw-i also noticed that nice trend over the years-why not? u play so hard over the year and 1 game can knock u out of the dream

Reggie McNeal will not be playing in today's game, but Dustin Long has been the A&M starter for most of the year and has done a pretty good job.

The quarterback of A&M Reggie McNeil is doubtful for the game leaving it in Dustin Long's hands. Sorry boys but like Texas to pull this out by 20!
