TEXAS A&M +13.5 (Friday) - This is the second time in 4 years that A&M has come into the Texas game immediately following a major tragedy. They posted an emotional 20-16 outright upset win back in 1999, on the same week that several students were killed when a bonfire went out of control at a pep rally. Now, the Aggies must cope with the death of Brandon Falls, who passed away on Monday from a blood clot in his lungs. They have dedicated the Texas game to Falls, and plan to all wear a patch with his number on their helmets. As for matters on the field, A&M can be excused for last week?s home overtime loss to Missouri, as that was a prime ?sandwich? game the week after they upset Oklahoma and the game before Texas. The Longhorns had any remote national title hopes dashed with their 42-38 loss at Texas Tech in their last game, and they are simply too risky an investment here, giving nearly 2 touchdowns to what figures to be a very emotional rival.
