The wife and I are going to have a Texas Hold-em Tourney at our house on April 16th at noon.
All Madjackers are invited to attend.

We are located about 35 minutes south of Milwaukee and 1 hour North of downtown Chicago.

Here are a few of the basics..
$100 buy in
Only 1 re-buy/add on allowed
Outside person runs the whole deal...so there is no conflict of interest if a problem arises.
Last man standing pot..if interested
Bounty pay-off
Food and soda provided...bring your own alcohol :mj14:
40 people max.
After people start getting knocked out of the tourney..side games start.

We did this a couple of times last year and it turned out great. It dosent matter if you are good or have never even played but always wanted to. We even hang up signs saying what hand beats what.(Thats more for my benefit than anyone elses) :grins: :grins: Everyone helps everyone else out on the betting process..etc.

This a completely laid back friendly game.
Normally we take deposit money to weed out the maybe I will be there people. For Madjackers we will take you at your word. If you say you will show..just pay the day of the tourney.

If anyone is interested either e-mail me or post here and I will e-mail you.

bubbas1,

About a hunnert years ago, I went to school in Winona, Minn. Almost married a girl from Cashton, Wi. The Heilemann Brewery in LaCrosse caused me to leave school. Is it still there?

As our resident LaCrosse-ite (DJV) has not yet responded to this thread, let me help you out, Buddy.

When G. Heileman brewery was acquired by Stroh's, they moved the production of Old Style and the other brands-- of which I can't recall their names at this time--to Texas and closed the brewery in LaCrosse.

Since that time, however, some people bought the brewery and re-opened as the City Brewery and they produce several brands, the two largest being LaCrosse Lager and LaCrosse Light.

Hope this helps and a link if you want further info..
