Sorry we just lost the best college player to come through in a long long time...& now have a freshman QB. A dropoff was expected.
Not to mention we lost another top 10 NFL pick the leader of our D last year Michael Huff as well...

Texas may win this game but it wont be by more than 3.
I still tend to think Iowa wins this game. You cant fix our defensive problems in a few weeks. This secondary just isnt a 'smart' group. Losing Huff depleted this defensive backfield more than anyone could have imagined. We have some hitters, but man they miss so many assignments it is painful.

not disagreeing with your take on team but if texas could somehow score 7 to open 2nd half they put alot of pressure on iowa and as we have seen in past with tate he tends to try to do too much when heat is on , that means ints and sacks!
