I'm guessing they come back and win 24-20, or something like that. I wish I had looked at their schedule before this game:

Sept. 18 at Texas Tech
Sept. 25 vs. UCLA
Oct. 2 vs. Oklahoma

:mj07: Good Lord, that has to be one of the bigger trap games of the year. Not excusing their shitty effort, but them coming out and playing inspired ball today was damn near an impossibility.

By far the worst call I have made all year... -15... Shit I wouldn't even of won the bet if I got +15

In your defense, UCLA is awful. If the circumstances were different, Texas would most most likely be routing these guys...

Texas only and I mean only chance to win this is if the defense can force a turnover and maybe even two.
Offense can't drive so they are going to need a huge break to at least get it to a one score game.

UCLA is 3-7 for 11 yards passing ALL GAME. Apparently they're gouging Texas on the ground. Really? Come on, now...

I'm so glad I didn't take the side in this game. However, it doesn't look like I'm going to hit the Over. I took UCLA the 2H though.

The line was only -15??? It sounds like maybe Vegas factored in a letdown with that line. UCLA isn't very good, Texas is supposed to be one of the best teams in the nation, and it was a home game for Texas. You'd think they would be more than -15?

I'm still not saying it's over yet. :0corn UCLA should take care of business, but one big play by Texas and they get momentum back, UCLA starts playing on their heels trying not to make mistakes, etc. That said:

209 rushing yards for UCLA, 50 for Texas. IN AUSTIN.

Texas offense has been terrible all season and I think Vegas knew that.

Texas is going to lose 3 in a row.

No chance they beat OU next week and even less of a chance they go into Nebraska and win the following week.

Nonetheless, they went into Lubbock and won outright last week. Bad teams don't do that, IMO. I think the look-ahead aspect had to be factored in at least a little bit. I'm telling ya, UCLA is probably the #7 or #8 team in the Pac-10. I'm certainly no linesmaker, but I would think normally Texas should be favored by well over 3 TDs at home against UCLA.

texas and fla come to mind......neither is as good as they've traditionally been recently.

texas is losing to a below average; 8th place pac-10 team

Before the season began Sportsbook.com had odds on many games and the line on this one was 21.5 so it did drop some from its original thought based on UT output.

I love that ESPN standard AND ESPN HD have the frigging Okie game on. Good thing I can watch the game in 2 formats, rather than be able to watch the Texas game on one of them.
