First time poster...been following board for about 2 years now. Figured I would try to add something for once.
IMHO, the total seems low here. Kapler should play tonight, and that will add another bat to Texas's already potent lineup. Further, although TX starting pitching has been doing a little better, their BP continues to be horrendous. In fact, in the last 3 games, TX BP ERA is over 8 and for the BP pitchers available, it is over 16.
Further, Gagne has been getting knocked around lately. In his last start, he was clubbed like a baby seal giving up 8 runs in 2 innings. He definitely hasn't proven himself to be worth the $11 mil/yr that LA agreed to pay him.
Wind is variable, and...just as it wasn't a factor last night, it won't be tonight either.
Input appreciated,
Howie
