I just read some of your posts and I am assured that Texas will win the Rose Bowl. I am betting them versus the spread and on the moneyline for more money than I have ever bet in my life.. Take it for what its worth, but the Texas Longhorns will win the Rose Bowl and the National Championship.

I am trying to help everyone in the forum make money. It is simply my opinion, fade me if you think I am wrong. I am from Texas and have watched every game Texas has played this year and know that their defense if much better than USC defense has been this year, I know they will win in a close game. 31-27 Texas is my predicted final score.

hedge you can take what i have to say or just toss it in the trash but see it all the time and have for quite a few years where people go and bet super bowl and collge bowl for more then they ever do way more and get beat, it is just another game no more no less so why bet it like it is not just another game, seen many people get drilled by betting games that books love people to bet for more money then they do most of the time.

good luck just some free advice take it, or say i have no clue and lay the house just hope you don't get burnt by playing that way. There are sports every day to find games and no need to do something you don't do at other times in the year which is making the biggest play of your life IMO.

Police investigate incidents possibly involving UT players
Allegations include an assault and robbery, police say.

Austin police are investigating allegations that individuals involved in the University of Texas athletics program committed robbery and assault in two separate incidents in September and earlier this month.

Police said this afternoon that one incident happened Sept. 4, and the other happened early Dec. 10, a Saturday morning.

"Due to the fact that these crimes are still being investigated, APD cannot provide additional information," a police statement read.

According to a police report, the Dec. 10 incident occurred at 2:59 a.m. at 500 E. Seventh St. near the Sixth Street entertainment district. The report said that police took a call concerning an attempted robbery by assault in which a suspect used his hands, fist or feet to assault a victim.

The second incident happened Sept. 4 at 3:06 a.m. The report did not list the location, but it stated that officers were dispatched to an assault and that an automatic handgun was involved.

The UT football team is scheduled to play in the national championship game Jan. 4 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif.

University athletic officials could not be immediately reached for comment

I dont know "who" yet but supposedly are 4 players, including 2 starters on defense and one on offense. One rumor is Ramonce Taylor and Cedric Griffin are 2 of them. No telling yet in terms of validity. I will not follow others and just "deny" because it is my school.

My guess is there is next to no chance of a suspension.

Billy Pittman supposedly another one involved. My understanding is that the Griffin/Taylor incident the alleged "victims" are refusing to press charges at least so far.

Hearing some more. I doubt that the December incident is going anywhere. It doesnt even sound like anything criminal occurred, just people on 6th street mouthing off on each other. I so far dont know anything about September.

Reason Texas will win: better athletes on defense

Reason Texas will NOT win: Mack Brown

Beware of the Mack.

He hasn't faced any team this year that comes close to the talent that he has.

When he usually faces a team that is close, he almost always gets beat and usually gets embarrased.

That being said, he has a guy playing offense this year that excels when his game plan breaks down.

The same could be said for Carroll.

Coach Mack has a history of getting punked by teams with as much talent as his

Carroll has a history of beating teams with as much talent as his

So NO, the same cannot be said for Carroll

If you are trying to help everyone in the forum to make money, and this is a HUGE bet for you, you wouldn't take the time to post analysis supporting your opinion?

I gotta question for you. What makes you so confident Texas defense is so much better than USC defense? You have to think about this because both teams are in different conferences and both teams play different schedules. Saying you watch every Texas games doesn't educate anybody.

As for your prediction. Might happen. But I think it is bold of you to predict Texas holding USC under 30pts. VERY tough to do the past 3 years and especially this season. As for Texas scoring 31. VERY few teams have scored over 30pts against Pete Carroll in the last 4 years. VERY FEW! All in all, bold prediction because you are going against 2 huge historical trends with USC O and USC D.

I would love to read your analysis why you are so confident in Texas.
