ADV: SEATTLE (BIG)
Bullpens: (avail. only)
Texas BP enters carrying an ERA of 5.30 and a WHIP of 1.51.
Their last 3: ERA 6.00, WHIP 1.73
Seattles BP enters carrying an ERA of 3.03 with a WHIP of 1.21.
Their last 3: ERA 5.63, WHIP 1.38
ADV: SEATTLE (GOOD)
Hitting:
Texas has an avg. of .257 with an on base percentage of .325 while Seattle brings in an avg. of .270 and on OBP of .345.
Texas has a Slug percentage of .435 while Seattle has an avg. of .423
ADV: PUSH (as far as I am concerned, close enough not to base a pick on)
Home field adv. lies with the Seattle as well!
That being said about the batters brings me back to pitching. If they are pretty even as far as bats are concerned, it leads me to believe that this game will come down to pitching. Seattle has the advantage with both starting pitcher and relievers. They have a fairly solid BP while Texas has some issues there. I mean they went out and got Rocker for pete sake. I just think that you will see a Seattle team come out tonight and get the job done. Call it a hunch as well but I like the bet even thought the odds are a little high.
I am going to wait and see what the public does on this to drive the line around but I really have a good feeling that Seattle gets the job done tonight!
I will lay the 1 1/2 forthe lower juice and take them -120 or if the public is all over Texas and drives the line below or at 200, I will bite on the ML. I will be searching and hopefully local will get down at 200.
