Tech in Lubbock is tough. This will be a very difficult rebound game for Texas. There will be over 15,000 fans there, most of whom absolutely despise UT, and it will be loud.
Tech is dangerous when they can get quick transition offense going. We have been at our worst when letting other teams outrace us downcourt. Texas should win the rebounding battle but Tech has thrived off turnovers, usually based on defensive pressure. Texas was in a clusterfuhk trying to defend off of screens against Okie St. and Tech is great at executing those backdoor cuts and setting up plays for Emmett.
Should be a pretty tight game but I predict Tech pulls it out in the end with a final of 72-67.
