Well I am biased towards Texas so take it for what it is worth but this is how I see it playing out:
Texas has struggled early in games this year even against weaker teams such as Wyoming(led 13-10 at half),Colorado(trailed 14-10 at half),TT(led 10-3 at half) and Central Florida(led 14-3 at half).
They have also buried a few teams in the 1st half as well(OKST,Missouri,Utep,BU).
I think A&M will ride the crowd in the 1stH and keep this close early maybe even survive until halftime.

I think Texas covers but this is how I am gonna play it.

A&M 1stH play for 165 win 150
Texas for the game 220 win 200

If A&M stays within the 1stH number then I am unloading on Texas in the 2ndH as I know Texas will pull away in the 2ndH and maybe I can even get the triple with 1stH,2ndH, and game.

If A&M doesn't cover the 1stH then they are not covering the game and I will probably leave it alone and take my 35 winning for the night.

Seems like a smart route to try and win a big amount with little risk based on Texas history this season.

Good luck.

I can't bet A&M even at home with a defense that gave up 65 to OU and it could have easily have been alot more if OU wanted.

you made a good point.. weak teams have hung with texas in the first half. I see this one close through out. Texas winning by 10.

All those teams that hung got blown out in the end. I can't see A&M staying within 17 but they might get out of there with a 17-21 point loss. Maybe a backdoor cover as Texas likes to relax in the 4th and A&M has a nice offense.
I see it 17-10 Texas at the half maybe 20-10 and then a final around 44-17.

I am still chewing on wheather to make the drive up for it.
My friend who went to A&M has a few tix from his aunt who has season tix and can't go.
He wants to go for some reason. I may take the 2 hour ride with him.

My wife pretty much dictates my life so if the boss says it's Thanksgiving and no then I don't go.

The biggest key to this game is going to be the A&M offensive line.
Better teams have had little to no issues with them and they are banged up to boot.
Ark defense and OU defense were all over Johnson.
Hell even the Colorado defense was all over Johnson. That is not a good thing against a bigger faster defense than all of those teams.
A&M running game is going to have to be strong and Johnson will be throwing on the run OFTEN in this one.

Even Baylor and CU scored 14 on Texas.
KU put 20 on them last week. A&M offense is good enough for 14-17 points at very least it comes in a 2ndH already routed game.:142smilie

I think Texas has extra incentive because it's A&M and they lay the wood to them...They've been blowing everybody out so I doubt they'll be flat for this game.

This is not the first time that a great t.u. team has come to Kyle Field with a point spread of greater than 20. In 2003, t.u. came to A&M as a 28 point favor and was losing entering into the 4th quarter. There was absolutely no reason why A&M should of been in that game but we were. I have to agree with a lot of people that t.u. should have no problem covering given A&M's defense this year. However, I doubt we make it to a bowl game so I think they will play like this is their last game and keep it close until the end and t.u. wins by 17.

Silly me, I always thought when aggy was saying t.u. they were referring to "The University". The self proclaimed "best fans in America" can't even sell out their stadium all year. Not even this game. Sad.

Let the ass kicking commence tonight over the college station cult! :142smilie :toast:
