I think judging a team by how they played the previous week is one of the worst ways to handicap a game. I'm not sure Missouri will cover, but anyone who thinks they'll play like they did against Oklahoma State doesn't understand handicapping 101.

There is no way Missouri is going to play as bad as they did against Oklahoma St.
But the tendencies are there for Missouri to show the same weakness they did in that game.
Texas is not unbeatable. Just not this week.

One big thing I picked up in watching the past few games of both teams several times is this.
Chase Daniels is a pocket passer. He is most comfortable standing tall , having enough time,
and completing his 70%
If Texas takes anything from what Oklahoma St did to Chase Daniels, they will find ways to take him out of his comfort zone.
Chase Daniels does not throw well when he is on the move out of the pocket. You really dont even have to sack him. Just make him throw on the run. Interceptions happen.
Then we got Colt McCoy. That fawking guy would rather throw running and jumping in the air than pussy footing around in the pocket. And his interceptions have been low. And to top it off McCoy runs like a fawking tank, is tough to bring down, and has never accused another team of playing dirty dirty football.
Question - how do you game plan for stopping Colt McCoy ?
Answer - you dont. You just try to keep the touchdowns to a minimum.:00hour

Just keep posting stuff to make yourself feel better about your wager. If Texas wins by 3 TD's, I'll eat crow. However, being ranked #1 and facing a team with Missouri's talent will be very difficult.
I'm not a Missouri fan, but realize when a wager looks solid and taking Missouri and then points looks very solid IMHO.

Colt McCoy is one smooth college quarterback. Here are some tidbits from his interview with Dan:
-- McCoy doesn't believe in the Sports Illustrated cover jinx and isn't worried about it.
-- McCoy said Vince Young is the greatest quarterback in the history of college football.
-- McCoy said he doesn't know who the best quarterback in the Big 12 is. He said wait to see who wins the conference.
-- Dan asked him the last time he signed an autograph. His professor asked him after class just yesterday.
-- Colt said he's definitely going to be back in Austin for his senior year. He seems to have no interest in leaving early for the NFL.
-- Dan asked him how important being a leader is for him. McCoy said it's huge and credited the Longhorns for their resiliency.
