sad part is, I gave the coaching edge to Carroll, but like Weis, his NFL coaching tricks came back one last time to bite him in the ass.

You have the ball in the 4th quarter, OFFENSE has been the story of the 2nd half, you cant stop them and they cant stop you. You have the ball up by 5 with 4 minutes left. Carroll sits on it and tries to drain the clock.

What should you do? You pass the ball and attack as if the game was tied.

YOU DONT GIVE A HUNGRY PRIME TIME PLAYER A CHANCE TO BEAT YOU!! DONT PUT THE BALL BACK IN HIS HANDS WHERE A TD CAN BEAT YOU!!

GO GET ANOTHER SCORE AND FINISH THE GAME!

CONSERVATISM AT ITS BEST! May not have cost Weis on Monday, ALMOST cost Joe pa yesterday and FINALLY cost Carroll tonight

the lkickoffs were a problem not doubt, the game was handed to Tex on many poor coaching decisions. The lateral hurt, but not as much as the kick offs, not blitzing more often and playing prevent after they scored to get out by double digits.

Great game

4th and 2 was the back breaker for USC-just swing the ball out to Bush and let him get the 1st down and run the clock out.

I ended up minus ($50) juice. Had Under 70' for the game and Over 34 for the 2nd Half. Thought I had a good chance for a middlerooski but the ($50) ticket was well worth the price of admission!!

I lost both mine...took USC at a pick for 4th quarter...looked REAL good after that missed FG.

Sad part is, I was telling other USC backers to do a small hedge with the TEXAS WINS BY 1-3 PROP that paid +800. I knew if they pulled it out it would be a come-from-behind and likely not by much!

exactly. I bet USC tonight based on what I've seen him do in big games. He DOESNT usually get conservative, and attacks till the GAME IS OUT OF HAND! Figures I got my $$ backing him the ONE TIME HE DOESNT!!

I hope conservatism doesn't cost "The Chin" and my Steelers the game this Sunday!!!!!

I doubt it, because even that tight A$$ (no offense) knows to not get conservative till the game is out of reach

And he has a DEFENSE he can hand the game over to.....

He didnt blitz like a madman until one series late when it was slip slidding away. Gotta lhate to be that 5 yard facemask USC'er......OUCH that will haunt him as much as the missed field goals last night for the FSU "kicker" if you can call him that.

Scott won $6900 on USC to go undeafeted in the regular season. he won that

he risked $22K to win 42K on USC winning the BCS title game. he lost that.
