Actually i have -325 live this second

Only used them in a parlay and played RL, better value, only if Texas wins by 2 though :mj07:

Favs of 280 or more this year are now 4-9 SU L13, -21 units!!

2 of the wins are for Kershaw, one for Jiminez and one for Yu.

That is a pretty insane record, thanks. Made a killing playing the big dogs... hmmm. I'm thinking Yu and the over tonight for some protection. If Peacock shuts down Texas and they score off Yu, so be it I guess.

I find these Rangers to be overrated. Look where they are at. Used to be 1st in the division, now fighting for a wild card place.

That's cuz their Mgr, a former coke head, has no balls!! Only the players win for this team, not for him, he has no control of what happens with the club!! Nolan needs to drop him while he's, NOT!! A lil Snoop Dog!

holy sht

holy sht

you guys obviously have no clue...

this year they were without 3 starters they thought they would have, Colby lewis, matt Harrison, neftali feliz --fkn ogando hasn't pitched much either--

they lost huge bats with Napoli and Hamilton (yes he sucked end of last year but still nice bat for past 3 yrs) and young --obviously they wanted to get younger

but shit competed all fkn year--not sure I understand your arguments when you take into consideration what they lost--its a rebuilding year even though mgmt. never proclaimed it as such
decent yr despite all the changes and injuries

Look at their payroll versus the A's and then tell me they aren't trying.

I actually think that Jon Daniels is a great young GM. He was smart not to throw money at Hamilton and has be good with prospects.

My biggest issue is that Wash is terrible. He consistently mismanages his pitchers and the team can look really flat. Not really a problem for me as an A's fan but this team really underachieved

you couldn't be more wrong other than his in-game mgmt. is questionable at times--but from a clubhouse standpoint, every dude loves him--run through fkn walls--

most teams have a higher payroll than Oakland--they are a solid fkn team, no doubt--but the thread was pointing out how much of a letdown the rangers were this year--there were a lot of factors, with the crazy amount of injuries to the pitching staff, its remarkable they are still in the hunt for a playoff run...they were using their 6th, 7th, 8th best starters---cmon man---

All good pts, but you are not in the dugout, you don't know some of the players and if you have followed or have known Ron Wash as I have, he was a former instructor with the Mets, etc., his team is one of the worse when it comes to RISP, blown leads in the 7th & 8th innings, and in the division they are in, they should have cleaned up vs Seattle, LAA & Houston and when it came to head to head with A's they should have done better, Holland went on a horrible streak at the wrong time of year, Yu gets no run support whatsoever, Perez has pitched well, Ogando has been limited to what he can do, they should have left him in the BP and same for Feliz, they hurt those two kids' arms by tinkering with them as starters, not something you can do, same thing happened to John Smoltz with the Braves, AJ has been solid for the Rangers, Moreland pulls off the ball more than he ever has and he should be cleaning up with runners in scoring position, I could go on and on, the kicker here is, when your player gets tossed for a questionable call against your team/player, for instance, when AJ got tossed for the horrible no strike call during a no-no, Ron should have come out flying and got tossed out of the game, but didn't, then a questionable call against Kinsler, Kinsler gets tossed and all Ron does is bitch at the ump and takes his lumps and goes back into the dugout, if he had the player's backs, he would get rung up too, he's a panzy for a manager and always has been. I have known Ron for over 30 yrs and he's not changed too much, his managing style or personality, but he lost this club at the wrong time of year when the expectations were high that they should have wrapped up the ALWorst. They have depended on Joe Nathan and he's done a great job considering his age and coming off an arm ailment a couple years back, you could even see Beltre tell a runner to take the bag at second cuz no one was holding the runner, that's something the mgr or coach should do, not the player.

Put Ron Wash in another team's dugout, and you will get the same results the Rangers have done since August 1, beginning in game 1 of 2014!

End of my soap box!

How do I know Ron Wash? I used to work with him with a former club he managed/instructed with in the minors.

Same thing that has happened to the Nationals this year happened after a great season years ago, when Davey Johnson managed the Mets, early '90s, Davey Johnson ain't changed and the Nats tanked it this year. We can all blame a team for injuries etc., but it's chemistry that helps win games and how you manage from the dugout, thinking ahead, etc., something that Melvin has done well at and what cost Manuel his job with the Phillies, he should have been gone long ago, a former hitting guru "Charlie Manuel" managing a team that can't hit!! So they fire the hitting coach each yr and left Charlie in charge until finally the straw that broke the camels' back happened this year, only cuz Amaro was getting heat from Monty and the boys upstairs that own the Phils. Nolan will pull the trigger on Ron after this season is over with, it won't be Johnny "D", Johnny "D" will probably go to another club to run them after his contract is up. But I could be wrong!! ;)

Later!

Rays rebuild their rotation every year and have been the only team with 90+ wins the last 3 so I don't really buy the starters being out excuse all that much personally.
