  1. Sark's record against top 10 teams while at Texas is 3-6
  2. Sark is not a good play caller, especially in the redzone
  3. The OL struggles against elite d-lines
  4. As of mid-October 2025, the Texas Longhorns' rushing offense ranks 72nd nationally, averaging 166.5 rushing yards per game
  5. Sark has been noted as a developer of QB's and his strength as an OC. However, he has failed to develop Arch Manning
    1. Arch Manning's 2025 season stats (through October 18):
      • Passing yards: 1,449
      • Touchdowns: 12
      • Interceptions: 5
      • Completion rate: 60.3%
      • Quarterback rating (QBR): 58.6 (ranked 75th nationally)
Bottom line, this team is underachieving. They are showing no improvement week to week. A change at QB needs to be made, but Sark is stubborn. He continues to start Manning to the detriment of the team. There is no way the back up QB's, Caldwell and Owens can be worse than Manning. With upcoming games against Miss State, Vanderbilt, Georgia, Arkansas and Texas A&M, things could get ugly in Austin.

LMM: Sark needs to untie Arch. The kid is and will be great. Think Daniel Jones…Sark is a bitch, and that look on the sidelines when he knows it’s on him is getting old fast.
These coaches' egos are so large because they know that if Texas doesn’t want them, it’s next up. Sark won’t adjust to Arch. Then again did Card? Ehrlinger? Even Ewers have great success under Sark? Nope.

Free Arch!

I agree that Sark is much to blame for the team's struggles this year. He is very stubborn and his ego is getting in the way of him giving consideration to turning over the offensive play calling to someone else. Also, he supposed to be the "QB whisperer". He has failed to develop Arch. We will have to agree to disagree on this one. I just don't see it with Manning. I think that he's a bust and that he needs to be benched. I think that it would be in both parties' interest if hit hit the portal after this season.

That said, give me MSU +7 and under 45 on Saturday. I could even see MSU beating Texas straight up. Texas shows no improvement from week to week.
