Going out of character and playing 3 favs, but IMHO there's a good chance we'll hit 2 out of 3......

Dodgers ML-144 x3 (Ishii)
Yankees ML-137 x2 (Wells)
Twinkies ML-137 x2 (Rogers)

Read cooz's thread for some thoughts on the Twinkies if you're interested. I'll try to put up my 2 cents in the morning on the Yanks and especially the Dodgers and their anemic offense.

As always, good luck, everyone!!!!!!

Thanks very much, gents. Good luck today:D.

2 more plays......

Royals ML+135 x3 (Wilson)
Tx/Mont Over11-110 x2 (Hernandez/Lewis)

Last 5 teams went 4-1 the game after facing Browny. Wilson in his 2 starts has a WHIP of under 1.

Lewis is prone to giving up the long ball. Livan has a career ERA over 7 vs Tx. Tx bullpen has been way overworked. And their offense should be excited to play in PR.

Despite Well's terrible career day stats, he's been stellar in day games this year. Cubbie's facing big distractions with the Sosa thing, as well. Zambrano has been briliant but has worse numbers in the day time (albeit still pretty damn good). Cubbies hit lefties well, but Wells is a big time pitcher, IMHO I think this is a good price. The weather may not cooperate here in Chicago, as it calls for afternoon shower.

Ishii in his short MLB career has always had better numbers at home than on the road, also better numbers at night. WSox hit lefties better, but still only hit at .260 pace. We all know about Ishii's control problems but he always seems to get out of it some how with his array of curveballs and change ups. Stamina was evidently the problem with him last yr as he got knocked around after the All-Star break, but before the break last yr, when facing the opponent for the 1st time, he was 8-2 with a 3.5 ERA, 9-6 for his career. He has yet to allow more than 3ERs in all his starts this yr, and in his career is 8-5 after making 100+ pitches, but 4 of the 5 losses were on the road. For a crappy hitting team, Dodgers hit an amazing .290 vs lefties.

Gotta run, good luck, everyone!

Thanks, poo:D. Just an incredible lucky yr for me in pucks:shrug:. Definitely looking forward to October already. I think that was the 2nd time all yr that Gigger has allowed more than 5 goals in a game:eek:. Idiot Eisner really put the kiss of death on the Ducks when he opened his big mouth.

Hope you get tix to the game, could be the last of the year:(. There's nothing like hockey playoffs......except a Purdue bowl game, LOL:D

Good luck today, buddy.
